Lorraine’s clinical interests include work with children, teens, adults, diagnostic assessments and addictions, as well as complex adults. She uses a broad range of cognitive behavioural and insight orientated techniques in the psychotherapy and counselling process. She completed an undergraduate BSc in Psychology at Glasgow Caledonian University followed by graduate training in counselling psychology and a Masters in Counselling Psychology at Monash University, Melbourne. She also has a Grad Dip in Education.
Lorraine has worked and taught in the UK and Australia. Lecturing and working as part of a multi-disciplinary team at Monash University and working with the UK police in the psychological training of specialist negotiators/firearms officers. She has also has worked in the UK family courts in the assessment of individuals involved in complex legal and family issues.
