Improving the health of our community.

COVID-19 update

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic we are currently unable to operate our musculoskeletal clinic.

Our musculoskeletal clinic provides support for a range of disorders involving the muscles, bones, tendons, blood vessels, nerves and other soft tissues.

The most common term used to describe these disorders is repetitive strain injury (RSI), examples include carpal tunnel syndrome, tendinitis, tenosynovitis and bursitis.

The clinic provides assessment and management advice on acute musculoskeletal problems. It is not designed as a long-term management clinic so patients are referred back to their treating doctor or allied health professional for ongoing management.

Dr Dennis O'Connor (MB, BS Dip RACOG, Dip Musc Med, GCHPE) runs the clinic and has advanced skills in assessing and managing musculoskeletal conditions.

Initial consultations take 20-30 minutes and follow up appointments approximately 10-15 minutes. The clinic operates on Thursday afternoons.
