AASW Accredited Mental Health Social Worker and Family Therapist

Suze is an Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) Accredited Mental Health Social Worker and family therapist with over 25 years experience working in clinical, education and management roles.

She identifies as a First Nations woman who values honesty, transparency, equity, social justice and access to great health and welfare services.

Suze’s therapeutic work is empathic and strengths focussed, utilising a mixture of approaches including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), psychotherapy, trauma informed therapies, psychoeducation, mindfulness, sensory and creative therapies.

She works with people from diverse backgrounds and stages of life experiencing mental health or relationship issues, transgenerational trauma, postnatal depression and anxiety, sexual abuse and family violence.

Working in private practice since 2013, Suze previously managed mental health programs for Loddon Mallee Medicare Local (now Murray Primary Health Network) and as Manager of Indigenous Programs at Latrobe University’s, The Bouverie Centre. She has also held roles with Bendigo Health, St John of God Healthcare and Women's Health Loddon Mallee.

Suze is a Scholarly Teaching Fellow and is undertaking a Masters of Research at Federation University.
